Is it free to join?
Completely. We never charge you to register, be assessed, or work. Anyone asking you to pay a fee to join MO AI is not us — report it to us immediately.
How much will I earn?
It depends on the project, the work type and your accuracy record. RLHF and writing pay the highest rates; straightforward annotation pays less. You see the exact rate in writing before you accept a task, never after. If someone can't tell you the rate up front, don't take the work.
Do I need experience?
Honestly: we don't run a training programme, so you need to work accurately from written guidelines on your own. Previous annotation, evaluation, writing or research work helps a lot. If you have none of that but you read carefully and flag what you're unsure about, apply anyway — the assessment decides, not your CV.
When and how do I get paid?
Terms are stated in your project agreement before you start, and paid to your bank account or preferred payout method. Payment is tied to accepted work — work that fails review may need correcting first, which is why reading the guidelines carefully matters.
Can I work from my phone?
Most projects need a laptop or desktop; annotation tools are demanding and accuracy suffers on a small screen. Apply anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether anything currently fits.
How long until I get work?
5–10 days to reach the verified pool. Getting your first task after that depends on client demand — we won't invent work that doesn't exist just to fill the pipeline.
How do I know this isn't a scam?
Fair question, and you should ask everyone it. We're a registered Nigerian company with a named founder, a public website and a base in Abuja. We never ask you for money, and never for your BVN or bank password — only the account details needed to pay you.
